How nightly pricing works
€219 is the everyday starting rate. The final price you see on the booking page adjusts for the season, the length of your stay, and your group size. Most families and friends booking a longer break end up with a per-person, per-night cost well below a comparable Lisbon hotel suite. Everything is shown clearly before you confirm, no surprise fees once you’re on the page.
Meet Susan, your host
I’m Susan, the founder of Espais Roca and the person behind Casa Almada. I designed this apartment from the ground up for families and friends who wanted a real Lisbon base, three proper bedrooms, a rooftop terrace, and the kind of finishes you’d find in a luxury hotel suite, without giving up the space and freedom of a private home. Tram 28 stops at the bottom of the street; Lisbon Cathedral is around the corner; São Jorge Castle is ten minutes on foot.
I designed every room myself, with families and friends in mind, because too many guests told me they were fed up with sacrificing the luxuries they enjoyed as a couple once they started travelling as a family. We knew both were possible. When you book Casa Almada, you’re staying somewhere I personally curate, not a faceless rental.
What’s not in the price (so you can plan ahead)
- Cleaning fee is included in the nightly rate, not added on later
- Lisbon’s Old Town is properly walkable, so almost no guest needs a car. If you do drive in, paid car parks nearby will sort you for the stay
- A refundable security deposit is held during the stay and returned in full when you check out without issue
- Lisbon tourist tax is collected at check-in per the city’s standard rate
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the €219 nightly rate the same all year?
No. Lisbon’s spring, summer and Christmas weeks are higher; January and February are the best value, and Lisbon in winter is genuinely lovely.
Do you offer week-long discounts?
Yes. 7+ nights and 14+ nights both have built-in reductions. They apply automatically at the checkout.
Can we hold the dates while we check with the group?
Yes. Send me a message through the contact page and we will hold the dates for 48 hours while you confirm.
Is there a lift?
No. Casa Almada is on the 4th floor of a traditional Lisbon Old Town building with no lift. Most guests are fine with the stairs (we will help with luggage on arrival), but if anyone in your group has mobility limits, message us first and we will be honest about whether the apartment is the right fit.
How do we get from the airport?
Lisbon airport is roughly a 20-minute taxi or Uber away. The metro red line connects the airport to central Lisbon; the closest stop to Casa Almada is a short walk.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is held during the stay and returned in full when you check out without issue.
